Kod Uniteda ništa novo, dođe čovjeku da ih žali
"They have cocked it up over many years. They have cocked it up. They have cocked it up, they are responsible for this. Poor recruitment, poor selection of, well managers, going with them and then pulling off them.
"Van Gaal won the FA Cup and then they sacked him. Jose Mourinho they sacked him after two and a half years when they had given him a contract six months before.
"They have pulled off managers in what would be the sort of thread of it and they have gone for completely different styles of managers in Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho.
"They have now gone with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has taken the club in a completely different direction again, and if you change direction as a board every two years and you invest £250million along the way in each manager you are going to have big problems.
"And Manchester United are basically now getting the pain they deserve for poor decisions at board level.
Clearly Solskjær is not the biggest problem at United. Clearly any coach coming in would face enormous difficulties. Clearly this is a club suffering systemic decay. And yet Solskjær is equally clearly now a problem. The week after United won away against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, Louis van Gaal, in his typically pugnacious way, dismissed him as being “another Mourinho” who relied on the counterattack. Time has proved him right: Solskjær is not somebody, it seems, capable of constructing attacks as modern football demands.
Now that the initial surge of enthusiasm at José Mourinho’s departure has passed, now that opponents know that they cannot leave space in behind them, now that so many of those flyers have succumbed to muscular injuries as to raise questions about United’s training, Solskjær’s shortcomings are being brutally exposed. His 17 league games since that PSG match have yielded just 17 points; Mourinho’s last 17 games before his dismissal brought 26.
Since joining Manchester United Fred has made 25 appearances.
And in this time he has registered just the one assist, when he found Lukaku via the help of a deflection in United's last-gasp 3-2 win over Southampton in March last season.
Since then he has found a team-mate with just a single through ball, which came in United's 1-0 defeat by Barcelona in April.
In the match at Old Trafford Fred received the ball in the middle of the park and fired it forward into the path of Marcus Rashford.
The pass was over hit and Rashford was unable to latch onto it properly.
But it was registered as a successful pass as the United striker did touch the ball before it bounced off his foot and rolled through to Barca keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
